Saturday was a busy day. Micah wasn’t feeling well, so I left him at home (Dadtractor’s) and started my day off house errand running and documenting the the progress of the house.
My first stop was at Albert Lee to pick up the dishwasher and stove we got an AWESOME deal on many weeks ago. The nice guys at Albert Lee loaded the appliances into the back of the truck and I took off for the house clear across the city. Check out my load…
After the appliance run, I headed to Pius for one of three runs to pick up our kitchen cabinets and the rest of our wood floors. While the guys at Pius loaded the truck, I walked over to Home Depot (twice) to pick up odds and ends Dadtractor needed.
The bottom of our pantry. I also ordered and picked up the cabinet for our 3rd floor guest bathroom. I was a little worried that this guy would slip right off the truck but luckily that didn’t happen.
After the Pius runs, I had lunch (Filipino sour soup) and spent a lot of time cleaning.
I also snapped some shots of all the progress.

They got through about two-thirds of the kitchen.

We got a lot done on Saturday but there is still a ton left to do this week. We can’t wait but hope the weather cooperates. It’s suppose to snow and snow would definitely slow us down.

I love reading your blog because we are doing the exact same things! Grout went in this weekend... and we just tiled the master shower floor! Your cork looks awesome... ours arrives next Monday. So exciting :)
Looks great!
