Apparently there is no better way to start a Tuesday morning than to buy furniture while you are commuting to work. I promise, this isn’t normal for me. I’m usually the person that ponders my purchase for weeks. Usually I talk myself out of buying what ever I’m lusting over or when I finally decide to bite the bullet, what I want is sold out. Anyway, this morning I bought this:
We need a side table for our living room and I’m 85% this is the right height. It wasn’t a complete steal but based on our size, color and design needs/wants, it wasn’t bad for $60 which includes tax and shipping.
I bought the table from the The Foundary, one of the billion online “exclusive” shopping sites. I peruse a couple of standards like Rue La La and Gilt Group but I find that I usually buy from the Foundary or Fab.com because they focus on home and garden items. Fab does sell things like jewelry and t-shirts but they are more like the things you’d find in a museum shop or Etsy. I also like Design/Story but haven’t purchased too much from there. It focuses on Scandinavian Design, which we love, but even with the discount, the goods are still a little out of price range.
If you have been to either site or are interested in an invite, use the links below. We get a little kick back if you sign up which we plan on using to buy something to giveaway on the blog.

I am subscribed to a bunch of those sites but I always forget to actually check them! I need to be better about it, because I know a lot of people who have found great stuff from them. The table is super cute!
