I’m sure you’ve seen this Seven Links post on every blog out there but we were tagged by Maggie of A Long Far View, so here goes…
I think it go to be our Walking Dubrovnik post. Dubrovnik is stunning from any angle which makes it impossible to take a bad picture there.
This is going to surprise people but the post that has gotten the most hits on our blog is the Ultimate Plasti Dip DIY. It got mentioned on some German car website where it became a hit. Big thanks to Nicole for plasti dipping her car.
Our posts are that controversial but we have had a few that have generated good discussion. I thought this post would be a cat post but after reading over the archives, I decided our post about whether to go with Mint.com, Are You Mint(ed), was the most controversial.
It seems our budget posts have been the most helpful, which makes sense. The most helpful, or at least interesting, seems to be Owning a House Costs Money. It took me a bit of time to calculate all the percentages so I’m happy it was helpful.
Post the Surprised Me
I’m going to use a previous answer and go with the Ultimate Plasti Dip DIY. I thought this post would get a comment and maybe a few views. I didn’t think it would be nearly as popular as it was.
Post I Feel Didn’t Get the Attention It Deserved
I’m going to deviate a bit and chose a guest post called The One Where We Both Got Away. I wrote for She Likes Ruffles, He Likes Truffles and linked to it through 4024. Come on people, I was mock charged by an Elephant. I think that deserves more than one comment, even if the comment is about how dumb I was to run.
Post I’m Most Proud Of
I have two. I think the first one is definitely Fingers Crossed – The Final. It’s not a particularly interesting post but it does mark the end of the administrative journey of our house building project. As far as the City of Seattle is concerned, our house is done. We all know better though.
My second choice for different reasons is Mankhaka Primary School. I think it gave readers a glimpse of what I see on my trips and maybe a few people, including ourselves, a little perspective.
As this started as a house blog, I decided to share my favorite house post. Of course it’s going to be the big reveal of my almost finished craft room (AKA Izzy’s room), Crafty, Crafty.
I hope everyone enjoyed this trip down blog memory lane. Happy Monday!!
